What is Polar Powder?

Polar Powder is a non-toxic biodegradable powder made up of minute particles that have the appearance of a sponge with tiny holes. These holes are filled with emulsion which forms into ice-like crystals when subjected to normal freezer temperatures. The Polar Powder Coldpak does not form as a block but remains malleable and becomes powder soft within a very short time of being removed from the freezer.

Within the Polar Powder Coldpak, air is present between the polar powder particles and acts as an insulator to actually slow down and ensure a more consistent rate of cold energy transfer to the affected area.
