For every 1 million users of HWB’s that’s 91 million litres (20 million gallons) of water.

The electricity used in heating a HottieTM is a third less than boiling a kettle:
A kettle uses on average 2.2kw of electricity for 4 minutes :- 0.147kw
A “D” rated microwave uses 0.75kw for 3 minutes: - 0.037kw
In pure cash terms the direct consumer saving over 100 fills is £1.68
